Catering Terms & Conditions
Dre’s Island Flava® Catering Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to Office Luncheon, Game Day, Private Event, À La Carte Catering, and other standard drop-off catering orders provided by Dre’s Island Flava®.
1. Ordering & Availability
A minimum of 5 calendar days’ advance notice is required for standard catering orders.
Larger orders, holiday orders, high-demand dates, and special requests may require additional notice. All catering orders are subject to availability.
2. Payment
Full payment is required at checkout to confirm a standard catering order.
Applicable sales tax, delivery charges, and any approved additional services will be added where applicable.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery time are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled delivery time are non-refundable because ingredients may already have been purchased and food preparation may have begun.
4. Order Changes
Changes to menu selections, quantities, delivery address, delivery time, allergy information, or other order details must be requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
All requested changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Changes are not considered approved until confirmed by Dre’s Island Flava® in writing, including by email, text message, updated invoice, or other written confirmation.
5. Delivery
Standard catering orders are drop-off only. Customer pickup is not available.
The customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address, delivery time, contact number, and any building, parking, loading, gate, security, or access instructions.
Delays caused by incorrect information, restricted access, unavailable customer contacts, traffic, weather, venue restrictions, or other circumstances outside Dre’s Island Flava®’s reasonable control may affect delivery time.
6. Food, Supplies & Setup
Unless specifically stated in the selected package or invoice, catering orders include food only.
Beverages, plates, cups, napkins, forks, knives, serving utensils, ice, tables, rentals, setup, servers, and cleanup are not included unless specifically stated.
7. Ingredient Availability & Menu Substitutions
Dre’s Island Flava® will make reasonable efforts to provide the exact menu ordered. If an ingredient becomes unavailable, Dre’s Island Flava® may contact the customer to offer a comparable substitute or menu alternative.
No substitution affecting a disclosed food allergy will knowingly be made without customer approval.
8. Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Customers are responsible for providing all known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and foods their group does not eat before the order is finalized and before food preparation begins.
Dre’s Island Flava® handles multiple ingredients and allergens. An allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
9. Food Handling After Delivery
Once a drop-off catering order has been delivered and accepted, the customer is responsible for proper food handling, temperature control, storage, and refrigeration.
Dre’s Island Flava® is not responsible for food that is improperly handled or stored after delivery.
10. Outside Food & Other Vendors
Dre’s Island Flava® is not responsible for food, beverages, desserts, products, equipment, or services supplied by the customer, venue, or another vendor.
11. Returns & Order Problems
Because catering food is prepared specifically for each customer and is perishable, prepared catering food cannot be returned after delivery.
If an item is missing, incorrect, or there is another problem with the order, please contact Dre’s Island Flava® as soon as possible on the day of delivery so the issue can be reviewed.
Depending on the circumstances, Dre’s Island Flava® may provide a correction, replacement, credit, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution.
12. Circumstances Outside Our Reasonable Control
Dre’s Island Flava® will make reasonable efforts to fulfill every confirmed order. Severe weather, government restrictions, emergencies, utility failures, road closures, venue closures, or similar circumstances outside reasonable control may require an order to be rescheduled, modified, or canceled.
13. Customer Agreement
By submitting payment for a standard catering order, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and agreed to these Catering Terms & Conditions, the Refund, Cancellation & Return Policy, the Shipping & Delivery Policy, and the applicable allergy and delivery terms.
Flava is what we do.
